Ecommerce “MarketHive” Marketing Campaign

 Steal the deal is a personal project and marketing campaign concept created for a fictional e-commerce brand, MarketHive. The goal was to craft a tone that feels calm, friendly, and trustworthy - with just the right touch of urgency to encourage buyers to take action. This piece blends motion design, branded visuals, and curated stock content to create a polished, professional ad that feels both human and marketable. This project allowed me to explore storytelling through motion graphics while focusing on cohesive branding, user trust, and seamless visual flow.

Role and Responsibility:

Concept Development, Script Writing( with Ai assistance), Voiceover Direction and Editing (recorded with Clipchamp), Video Editing & Assembly (Premiere Pro), Motion Graphics and Icon Animation (After Effects), Text Animation and Typography Design, Color Palette Creation (White, Gray, Black and Blue), Photo Animation(zoom/pan transitions), Sound Design (music editing, SFX from Envato Elements), Title Animation and Animated Overlays, Integration of Stock Footage and Apparel Visuals and Branding Cohesion across all assets.

Timeline:

This project had a completion time of 3 days. Starting on May 23rd, 2024 and ending on May 26th, 2024. The deadline was May 29th, 2024.

Challenges and Solutions:

Animating and masking elements in After Effects was a learning curve, especially when trying to time them naturally with music and transitions. I researched and practiced techniques like mask reveals, easing keyframes, and using overshoot effects to give the animations more life. I also utilized templates as a learning tool and modified them to fit the projects tone and flow. As well, balancing urgency without making the tone feel pushy. I carefully chose the music, colors, and motion pacing to keep the tone calm and trustworthy while subtly encouraging action through animated typography and visual rhythm.

Results and Takeaways:

The final video delivered a cohesive, polished campaign that aligned with the brand’s friendly and trustworthy tone. The motion graphics, color palette, and sound design worked together to create an engaging viewer experience. This project strengthened my ability to produce high-quality e-commerce marketing content with attention to detail. Improved my animation and masking skills in After Effects, especially with timing and flow. Learning how to build a visual hierarchy in typography to guide viewer attention effectively. Gained confidence in shaping tone through music, color, and motion to evoke emotion without voiceover. Discovered how much polish tools like Envato Elements can bring when used thoughtfully.
