Dementia Awareness Infographic

Forgetting is an animated infographic raising awareness about dementia. This video features custom illustrations created in illustrator, a calming and consistent color palette, and smooth animated typography and graphics. The motion was brought to life in After Effects, paired with a gentle AI voiceover and supplemented by relevant stock photos.

Role and Responsibility:

Illustrated custom icons and assets in Illustrator, developed animated charts (bar, pie and line graphs), animated entire project in After Effects, sourced and incorporated stock photos, and integrated AI voiceover and background music.

Challenges and Solutions:

Creating a clear visual hierarchy to convey statistical information in a digestible way required careful balancing of motion pacing and design clarity. Custom animated graphs were timed to the voiceover for maximum engagement and clarity.

Results/Takeaway:

The project effectively translated complex data into a simple, engaging educational piece. It strengthened skills in infographic storytelling and reinforced the importance of accessible design when communicating sensitive health topics.
